Objetives

Centro de Exportadores de Cereales (CEC or Grain Exporters Association of Argentina) was founded in 1944 with the main objective of protecting and promoting the interests of the exporting activity of grains, oilseeds, their derivatives and byproducts.

The companies gathered in the CEC export grains of soybean, wheat, corn, barley, sorghum, sunflower, rice and colza, among others. Including the oilseed complex, they concentrate 49,9% of the whole country exports, according to INDEC's report.

The CEC is associated to international entities such as The Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), an organization with over 1400 member-companies spread around 86 countries which participate in the trade of grains, byproducts and legumes in all the trade chain phases, from production to final consumption.
